Foundation Cero Basura Panama

Foundation Cero Basura Panama was created on October 21, 2021, with the purpose of improving our environment as a country and at the same time eliminating visual pollution from the high level of garbage that we see daily in our communities.

Panama

My name Panama comes from an Indian word that means "abundance of fish": and to prove it, 50 world fishing records have been caught in my waters, so many fishing records have been broken in Bahía Piña that we can hardly keep them up to date. The rich waters of my Pacific are like magnets for fishermen from all over the world: who find here all the facilities and equipment to realize their passion. Be it blue or black merlin, yellowfin tuna, bonito, dorado, dolphin or marlin; the tiger shark is also found in abundance in the Pacific waters west of Azuero Peninsula

In Panama, our foundation works to educate and inspire the community to protect our planet's biodiversity and promotes recycling

"We do not inherit the land from our parents, we borrow it from our children" Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Somewhere in Latin America. Garbage washes up on a beach

Somewhere in Pacific ocean. Unlimited borders for waste

Somewhere in West Europe. A wild dump on the border of two countries

Somewhere in Asia. What a play area ! Our children deserve a healthy environment

Somewhere in West Africa. A textile trash of the world

"Waste crosses land and water borders without a visa"

We all are affected by the degradation of our environment. Let’s act together to preserve our planet
